This Financial Privacy Notice applies to nonpublic personal information collected by Persis Insurance and Financial Services Corporation, also referred to as “Persis,” “we,” “our,” or “us,” in connection with insurance and financial services transactions.

This information may include name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, driver’s license number, Social Security number, tax identification number, financial account information, payment information, insurance policy information, claims history, driving history, property information, business information, payroll information, revenue information, and other underwriting or transaction-related information.

We use nonpublic personal information to:

  • Provide insurance quotes,
  • Submit insurance applications,
  • Obtain underwriting approval,
  • Bind, issue, renew, endorse, cancel, reinstate, or service policies,
  • Process payments, refunds, and billing,

Persis does not sell your nonpublic personal information.

Persis does not share nonpublic personal information with nonaffiliated third parties for their independent marketing purposes, except where permitted by law or authorized by you.

Persis may share information with nonaffiliated third parties as necessary to quote, place, service, maintain, or administer insurance products and related transactions.

6. Your Right to Limit Certain Sharing

Federal law may give you the right to limit certain sharing of your nonpublic personal information with nonaffiliated third parties. However, this right does not apply to information sharing that is necessary to process or service your insurance transaction, maintain or administer your policy, respond to your request, protect against fraud, comply with law, or perform other legally permitted activities.

If Persis engages in information sharing that requires an opt-out right, we will provide the required notice and method for you to opt out.

7. Protection of Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your nonpublic personal information. These safeguards may include access controls, secure systems, employee training, vendor oversight, password protection, encryption where appropriate, and secure record retention and disposal practices.

8. Former Clients

Our privacy practices continue to apply to nonpublic personal information of former clients. We retain and disclose information about former clients only as described in this notice, as permitted by law, and as necessary for business, legal, regulatory, accounting, insurance, or compliance purposes.
